Berryfields is a well organised caravan site mainly geared up for caravan owners; 80+% are regulars leaving a few electric plots for tourers. Our choice was the field which is pretty flat and hedged, although the crows in them make a racket at dusk and dawn.
The washing facilities are neat and tidy but small and distant.
We didn’t sample the showers £1 token required) as the owners were away two days and we couldn’t get tokens! Luckily the July weather and the sea was warm so we swam and rinsed off in the freshwater stream. Lovely beach! It’s a great place for groups too
Love this place. My husband and I have been coming for at least 12 years and we always find Chris and the team to be so helpful and friendly. The park is lovely, showers and toilets are very nice and there is a small park for kiddies and a field for exercising dogs. The cream teas in the cafe are to die for! 😋 and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. We will be back soon.
Wow, what a fantastic tea room!
Excellent service, delicious food and all in a beautifully presented tea room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. ❤
The cream tea itself was delicious! The homemade warm, heart shaped scones were lovely, and so was the cornish jam and cornish clotted cream.
Inside, the tea room itself was a very pleasant and inviting place to sit. The seating was particularly comfortable and the tables were nicely dressed, each with a small vase of flowers and pretty table runner.
We will definitely be returning here soon when family come to Cornwall for their summer holiday! We will be reserving a table in advance though, because this gem of a tea room will inevitably be very busy during the summer months!
Thankyou Team Berryfields ❤
We stayed on the campsite and facilities are very good especially as dog friendly and we will definitely stay there again if in the area. I had a takeaway cream tea from their tearoom and it was delicious. The strawberries were the best I have tasted.
Top quality cream teas with affordable prices. Scones come in the shape of a heart. Each serving has a plain and fruit scone so do specify if you prefer plain ones. …
To be honest I have no idea if the cream teas here are any good. We drove 10 miles to get here given the website says open 9-5 Monday to Friday only to find signs at 3.50pm saying ‘Sorry Closed Today, Closed on Wednesdays’. Not only is …
Best cream tea I've ever had. A lovely welcome. Friendly staff. The inside area has had a makeover since I last visited and it looks amazing. Beautifully decorated with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
A gem of a site where the owner Chris and his team make for a great experience. The clean and tidy site with its very own tea rooms create the best Cream Teas and lunches. …
A wonderful friendly welcome and the Strawberry Cream Teas are to die for. A place we have been visiting for many years and hopefully for many years to come. Thank you to the owners who work so so hard, but remain as friendly as ever.
One of the most pleasant owners of a campsite I've ever met. We had a last minute booking, upon turning up we were made to feel very welcome. Had a choice of pitches offered. We stayed near the onsite pitch and put. Toilet block was really …
